Esperanza Venezuela Foundation  has the goal of promoting respect for the life of every person in Venezuela through art. All the projects done by the foundation are social-artistic projects  and nonpartisan.

In its first stage, Esperanza featured 52 mothers that lost one or several children due to violence, and who wish to send out a message of peace. Our introduction: large installations of images of these mother’s faces blanketing Caracas as an outcry for peace. Our intention: to give a face to the hope for the end of violence.

In its second phrase "put yourself in her shoes" Esperanza invites wellknown personalities (musicians, journalists, television presenters, athletes, among other" to contribute with a picture of the half face of a mother that had lost one or more children because of violence as a mean to express visually an act of solidarity. Hundreds of people have participated in this campaign and now are criers of peace.

The team members of Esperanza participate voluntarily. No monetary compensation is involved. Beyond social, economic, religious or political differences among participants, they were all united to elevate a call for peace in Venezuela.

The sensitization campaigns of Esperanza are financed by monetary donations from all those citizens who identified with the initiative.
